R142 Ystad and FSvR has been invited to visit Kiel in Germany, during the annual event Kieler Woche. During the return journey, we stop in Karlskrona, Kalmar, Oskarshamn, Västervik, Oxelösund-Gålö and let individuals and companies have the opportunity to go on one or more of the sections to experience something unforgettable - a 250 ton ship with three gas turbines of nearly 13,000 hp 40 knots!
For those who prefer to maintain your feet on land, it is fine to just go down and check out the cool robot boat. The boat is moored at Västervik Harbor on July 8th and you can board between 18:30 and 20:30.
On June 6, 2014 the Naval Museum in Karlskrona opened a new exhibition focusing on the 80th century cold war, which offered, among other things, a unique encounter with real submarines in a whole new dimension. Because the missile boat R142 Ystad was built in Karlskrona and was very much active in the Swedish fleet around the time of the Cold War, and her sister ship Västervik is a museum ship docked at the museum in Karlskrona, we will in FSVR be implementing this military historical trip.
